Facebook is developing it's own cryptocurrency. News has been covering it a lot the past couple days.
No one really knows exactly how it will be utilized as a service for its users. Some say it will be like a loyalty points program while making it easier to make peer to peer payments. I'm not sure why you'd need a cryptocurrency to do that, though.
