About 1 hour by bus outside the city of Bangkok is a market in a little town. This market is famous for being set up on top of a functioning railroad track right next to the end station. So about 6 times per day, the market vendors have to pull back their awnings and produce to let the train pass. It makes for an interesting half-day trip, but if you want to make it more worth your while, come from Friday-Sunday where there is also a floating market nearby.
Would you stand this close to a train?
