The beautiful Cross river is a tributary of the mighty Kootenay river, and it has this amazing turquoise colour to it. Now I have come across many a turquoise lake/river in the past, but this one has a real deep turquoise look to it, unlike any others I’ve seen. The river is located around the Nipika Mountain resort area, and just east of Kootenay park, British Columbia. I wonder what kind of fish I could catch here? After a quick search, apparently Trout, Mountain whitefish, and Salmon can be found swimming in these waters. Thanks for stopping by.
