If you zoomed in extra close, two “Ice Explorers” can be seen on the trail to the glacier. They are the size of buses with super huge tires. This is what takes you directly to the glacial ice surface. The ride itself takes about twenty minutes or so with a few bumps along the way. In my opinion, it is a must do activity if you ever find yourself visiting the Canadian Rockies. Personally we took the tour about fifteen years ago, this time it was just a stop along the parkway for some quick pics.
