This is Mount Kerkeslin, as seen from the Athabasca river, Jasper National Park, Alberta. Getting the opportunity to view this mountain while at the Athabasca Falls was like a cherry on top of today’s journey. Great looking mountain, don’t you think! It does look quite tall, can you guess how many metres high it is? Could you imagine white river rafting on this river. Yeah, sounds fun eh. There are local tour companies that offer rafting trips down this river, not at this exact spot, but just down river from the falls. It has been a few years for me since my last trip, I think it is about time to give it a go again soon!
