At a glance, the first photo almost looks like the moon rising over the horizon! But a mountaintop with some frosting on top it is. These photos were captured around Cascade ponds, a great place for some picnic or light hiking activities, not so much around November when these photo were taken, but during warmer months. Notice the lack of visitors? During peak season this place is usually packed with tourists and the like, great time of the year to visit if you are looking for privacy and solitude.
