This is the first of five lakes to be found at the Valley of Five lakes hike. As far as I know it is actually called “First Lake”. Located inside Jasper National Park, Alberta. I was really looking forward to doing this relatively easy hike, but we ended up getting slightly lost on the trail you might say, so we did not complete the whole circuit. Signage wasn’t the best, and I did come across other hikers that were in the same predicament as us. Oh well, I’m planning to go back for round two.
