This is one pretty little lake! It is called “Olive Lake”. I suppose if it were up to me, I would have called it “Turquoise Lake” instead. As it looks more turquoise than olive, especially in this light. If overcast weather, I could see why “Olive “ could make more sense. Light exposure typically changes lake colour. The colour is almost an illusion. Sunlight and photography always go very well together. Throw in a reflection or two, and things can get magical. Did you visit any magical lakes last Summer?
