Here we are up at Hourglass Lake, East Kootenay, British Columbia. It was a mostly overcast afternoon, but I still managed to get some super shots by the lake. Could have used bluer skies, but the weather can’t be perfect all the time. Quite a bit of snow still on the mountains for mid June. In fact while we were lounging by the lakeside, the snow started to fall. Not exactly what one wants to experience while out on the hiking trail, but luckily it only lasted for about 20 minutes.
