This is the incredibly beautiful Cascade Mountain, standing tall at 2,998 metres (or 9,836 feet for our American friends). A real gem of Banff National Park. For those with the mental fortitude, a great full day hiking experience. I have yet to take the challenge. Perhaps next Summer. Cascade pond here is formed from the spring glacial melt runoff. A very picturesque place to enjoy the surrounding mountain views. Enjoy!
