As I have mentioned previously, the mountain air last fall was definitely on the smoky side, due to forest fire activity. Today as I was preparing and editing these photos, the “colours” were just not happening at all. So I didn’t to just leave them out, and go only Black & White. I think that was the right choice. The lake in view is Minnestimma Lake, sitting beneath Sentinel Pass, and far above Moraine Lake! Better in Black & White?
