Well, the weather was looking up for today’s hike and no rain so far! We made our way to the trailhead via an extremely bumpy logging trail. It did take about thirty minutes of travel time to get there. So we set off on the hike, and no more then about 10 minutes in, we encountered this fresh Bear track. I think this is the most pristine bear track I’ve ever seen. Initially it was startling to see, but the good news was that the tracks were pointed in the opposite direction of where we were going. We figured it was safe to continue, so we did. Onward and upward we went, into Bear country.
