Barrier Lake itself is actually a reservoir, but thats neither here nor there. We will enjoy the magnificent lake perimeter hike, and thats all that matters for now. The scenery around here is just incredible, and the weather was picture perfect! Barrier Lake is located somewhere between Canmore and Calgary, Alberta. Have you been out here before?
