Sometimes the most amazing things can be found in the sky, and not on ground level. The first photo was captured as we headed toward the “Abandoned Lake”. Now as cool and menacing as the clouds looked, we were still bound and determined to get to our destination, no matter what the weather told us (it was however a sort of unsettling feeling, but who would want to turn back after coming all this way?). The second photo is a snapshot of the skies above our abandoned lake. I decided to post the black & whites first, as it gives them more of an eerie and dangerous feel. The third photo is an extra capture from our trip from Athabasca falls to Sunwapta falls, Jasper Park. Which is your favourite?
