One of the most abundant creatures in Banff National Park is the Big Horned Sheep. Elk, Moose and Deer are other Bigger animals that you may run into while inside the park.
One morning when I lived in Banff, as I was making my way to work early in the morning (on foot), I was startled by a huge Elk that just seemed to pop out of nowhere, it had a huge rack on it too!
If you want to see wildlife, come to the Canadian Rockies, you won’t regret it!
