This one was a bit different. A dress designer contacted me a few years ago to say she'd love to collaborate on a shoot together. She had created a bird themed outfit and had seen Steph in some of my previous shoots. She wanted us all to work together to create a fantasy style shoot based around her outfit.
I started to research locations and came across a cool old abandoned greenhouse which resembled a giant birdcage. We traveled down to County Wexford to find this location and thankfull it looked as magical as we hoped.
Random useless fact. This location is attached to the house that Guinness Book or Records was first conceived. It was owned by a family who used to do business with the Guinness family decades ago. While on a hunting trip with a a senior member of the Guinness company they began discuss what was the worlds fastest game bird, which led to talk about other extreme records. That evening over dinner back in the house, it was decided that they should create a book of these records that could be of interest to the general public. Thats where the idea for the Guinness Book of Records originated from. I thought that was kind of interesting 馃槃
