I lost somebody yesterday that I loved very much, my grandmother.
I'm not usually a fan of grief posts. Its not that I think that people should keep things to themselves (that couldn't be further from the truth). I've just seen lots of examples that came across a bit tacky and as if they were more for other peoples benefit. Saying that, if it helps people grieve then its not for me to judge. Just personally, the idea of a Facebook post with a ton of replies from people giving their sympathies makes me uncomfortable.
So why am I posting this. Well simply, because I'm sad. I wanted to express that. Steemit actually has a nice advantage for me compared to other social network platforms in that I don't share too much personal info here, and I only know a few of you in person. I don't know why, but there's a comfort in that.
I don't want to get too deep into it. I just wanted to say it, goodbye Nanny. I'm going to miss you very much.
