Sometimes equipment fails on a photoshoot and it leaves you with undesirable results. However sometimes you get a nice surprise when equipment fails, and get results you never would have planned.
This is a shot with local model Char that I did a few years back. It was during a phase where I was using a lot of coloured gels for rim lighting. In this shot my key light didnt fire, only the rim light with red gels.
The result was a fully red tinted shot that I never would have lit intentionally, but I love the results!!
