It was indeed another pretty time with the Brethren. In today's Zoom meeting, Brother Daniel and Brother Rodel took the lead in the discussion and expounded on the issue that was raised yesterday on hiding in the auspices of grace for doing evil.
Nonetheless, a few other scriptures were added to the other scriptures that was invented yesterday, and they include although not limited to the following:
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?(KJV)
The call of God to humanity is always a call for reconciliation, restitution, revival, direction etc because He understands that man is at the verge of destruction when his life and action contradicts God's word.
There is no free entity in the word regarding humanity. We are always servants, we aren't acting on a lucid will, we are compelled to act in a distinct way that most times the actions seem vague and complicated because one isn't free.
I love the KJV expression of this matter. One is a servant to whichever life he yields himself. Most times we pity drug addicts because we understand that the addict's addiction has enslaved him because he is no longer in control of his life and actions.
We became servants by default as we entered into the cosmos because of the two superpowers in charge of our environment which is God and the devil and thus we cannot dissipate this fact.
We make our choices of whom to serve when we have attained a reasonable level of knowledge despite whom we have served at our tender age which is either God or the devil.
Now when we are matured enough, we make our choices of whom to serve, and when we yield ourselves to righteousness or sin, we instantaneously become their slaves.
As believers we are servants of obedience unto righteousness, we are reminded that our yielding to God is a clarion call to live righteously in this world. Probably we may have lived sinfully in the past but through the grace of God that was made available through Christ, we are no longer servants to evil practices rather we are now servants of God because of God's spirit in us.
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.(KJV)
There is only one true God, even Jesus the son of God. Everyone wants to know God but he does not exist in human form as he is a spirit who once came in the form of man to redeem man he has created.
Although it was meant that through Israel his blood will be used to atone for the whole world, we can observe that the reality of his nature as God was hidden from the Israelites because if they had known it was God they crucified, they wouldn't have done that but because the scriptures must be fulfilled, he had to die the death of shame like any other man.
Knowing Him (Jesus) will set anyone free from the bounds of sin and unrighteousness. No one will be free except through the knowledge of him who brought freedom to humanity, because in him was life and that life was our light according to John 1:4
If one is living in sin, he needs the truth which is Christ who holds our light. Because we once lost this light to the devil at the garden of Eden but Christ has brought it back to us and had also paid with his blood to open the testament of grace to us in which we live no longer as slaves or servants to sin but as servants unto every good work because we were purchased over again through the blood of Jesus.
1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)
We are serving a faithful God whose words can never fail. Now we have been delivered into the Son's fellowship which is the fellowship of Christ.
We weren't called into the fellowship of the devil or demons or unrighteousness rather the Son's fellowship.
In Jesus' fellowship, we have liberty and freedom of expression to exercise our faith in Him who has called us.
Sin has no place in the fellowship of the Son. We didn't tell God we want to be incorporated into the fellowship of His son Jesus but he called us not by our own mandate but out of his will.
This means that we didn't come alone, we were honorably invited into Jesus' fellowship, which is a grace that should not be abused because he who called us is faithful to keep us from falling.
There is no way we can live for God except through Jesus Christ. The way to knowing God is through Jesus Christ and we have been brought to the fellowship of Christ because the grace of God founded us, we never called ourselves.
He is the way, the truth and and the life according to John 1:6. The way or how to know God is through Jesus Christ, the truth about God is revealed in Christ and the life of God is replicated in Christ. So this makes him God and when people have a contrary opinion to this', that means they have not started.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.(KJV)
Apostle Paul was trying to enlighten the Brethren at Galatia on the essence of their calling. The Jews have a law which they must strive to live up to but the rest of the world does not have this law or possibly was not given this law by God as did in the days of Moses the man of God.
The Jews have different laws in which circumcision is amongst, but the gentile nations do not have this law. So Apostle Paul reminded the Brethren in Galatia that they weren't saved by circumcision as this is a serious law in Israel but by grace.
We gentiles were called not in consonance to the dictates of the law but in consensus to the life of grace which came through Jesus Christ, where we sacrificed nothing but words to be partakers of this grace.
Every country in the world is fighting for liberty and sovereignty, even as we can attest to what is happening between Russia and Ukraine, and the Apostle Paul understands that freedom could lead to frivolities and lackadaisical living.
He advised the Brethren that their freedom or liberty in Christ is not a parameter for sinful indulgence, rather they are to use their body to serve one another in Love.
Apostle Paul reminded the Brethren that if they should live to please the law abiding Jews who wanted them to be circumcised, they must also obey every other dictate of the law but as people that have been saved by grace, we have to live our lives in accordance to the demand of scripture and the leadership of the Holy Ghost who lives in us and not to use our freedom or the grace we have obtained as a facade for sinful indulgence.
In Hebrew 10:26, we were reminded not to sin wilfully as believers since there wouldn't be any sacrifice for those sins but rather a fearful indignation of God against such that sins wilfully as this tantamount to trampling on the blood of the covenant.
The knowledge of the truth is what exonerates us from sin but when one goes back to sin, there is no other remedy for his wilful sin which is why we need to avoid sinning wilfully, as this does not say good about a believer before God.
We saw in the book of Ezra 7:23 how God had persuaded king Artaxerxes to help in rebuilding the ruins of Jerusalem and he commanded all that went with Ezra the scribe unto Jerusalem to do according to the dictates of the king, intending that whatever is commanded by God concerning Jerusalem should be done diligently unto his house.
This reminds believers that what God has commanded should be done not necessarily to God because anything a man does is actually for his own benefit and not actually for the good of God's since He lacks nothing and can replicate good over time to his glory.
We are reminded of the consequences of living wilfully in sin as it tantamount to negating the suffering and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus and this attracts divine indignation
We must recognize Jesus as the way to overcoming sin, and living righteously for God who has delivered us from the bounds of sin.
Finally we have to remember that we have been saved from sin, and we are not to live again in oblivion of what has been done for us, that is living like people who are still debtors to sin.
Perfect obedience to God comes when we absolutely give our Life to Christ because we are servants to whomever we give ourselves to.
God bless his servants who gave themselves as instruments for bringing this program to our edification and benefit thanks. I'm inviting you to always join in the MCGI Mass Indoctrination program as you stand to improve your spirit and has nothing to lose, bye and 馃挆
