Hi everybody! I imagine this type of academic speech coming from a Psychology Teacher who wants to both relax a bit with his students and direct their attention to other relevant stressors that might appear during pandemics. I think the mother-in-law portrays some big unfriendly evil, but she might be replaced as well. We can also add here other toxic people with who we share time and feeling unable to separate in this period.
