During the early years of Jesus life he lived like a normal human being, Jesus grew like a normal child among the Jews. That's why they didn't believe in him at first.
They judged him by his family background.
Mark 6:3
[3]Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Carpentry job was passed to Jesus Christ by his toaster father Joseph, that's they called him son of the carpenter.
