We're the oldest decentralized autonomous organization (DAO), with contributors and members on every continent.

As a DAO, anyone anywhere can start using, running infra for, and actually make decisions on behalf of, Dash. We're truly global and universal, with independent teams working from all over the world, operating without the need for permission from any central entity.

But Dash's founder Evan Duffield is from Arizona in the US, and Dash's main (but not only) protocol development group is headquartered in the US as well.

While we're one of the most truly global blockchain projects, we have our roots in the USA. 🗽
