This is the first movie to earn 25.35 crores on first Monday. Earlier this record was in the name of Salman Khan's Race 3 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavat.

Sanju earned 145.51 crores in the first four days. On Friday, Rs 34.75 crores, on Saturday Rs 38.60 crores, on record 46.71on Sunday and on Monday on the fourth day the film earned 25.35 crores.

On Sunday, Sanjay had collected Rs 46.71 crore. This is the first movie to earn so much in one day in the history of Hindi cinema.

In the highest grossing films of 2018, Sanju had already surpassed Salman Khan's 'Race 3', Tiger Shroff's 'Bagi 2' and Deepika-Ranbir's 'Padmavat' movies.

Salman Khan's Race-3 earned 29.17 crores on the first day, 'Bagi II' earned 25.10 crores. The fourth position is 'Padmavat' (19 crore) and fifth number 'Veerre Di Wedding' (10.70 crore).

Sanju has moved to second place in the highest grossing list of non-holiday shows (Bank Non-holiday Friday). In the history of Bollywood, Sanju has become the second highest grossing film of non-hollywood. 'Bahubali' (122 crores) is the top movie on this list.
