Hey folks.
Today I want to talk to you about the best books for IELTS. Now obviously this is a subjective matter. Everyone has a different preference or learning style. However, as an experienced teacher I want to share my opinions.

I am obviously a big fan of the official materials because this is highly reliable, unlike most crappy IELTS books churned out by teachers (or their ghostwriters).
Cambridge Series
These books offer past papers that can show you what the IELTS test is actually like. You should not just use these. Instead, use them occasionally while doing other English study. A more general approach to IELTS is better than just repeatedly doing practice tests.
Focus on IELTS
I'm a huge supporter of the Focus on IELTS books as well. These are broken down into topics, which I think is the best way to learn language.
