Clone Towns
I visited Hereford today and was a little disappointed. I'm not saying that it is a bad place, it's actually very beautiful. But the problem I have is that the city centre is no different to any other city in the UK.
Same chain shops
No uniqueness
No true identity
It's really becoming a bore to visit a new town / city ..... I want to see lots of independent stores selling local produce and crafts....not the same old sh*t that I can get in any city
