previously I used blocktrades a couple of times to rent SP and I didn't have any inconvenience, it seems to be a quite intuitive platform in comparison with many other exchanges.

Just one detail to keep in mind, as @sames says, blocktrades is not completely decentralized. We are not doing peer to peer transactions, everything goes through the blocktrades account and we adjust to their taxes. Of course, all this does not mean that it is not a good service that we can use.
