_{Cover of the April 1990 issue of Zzap!}

I spent a lot of time with a Commodore 64 growing up and it was primary gaming program from 1987 to 1993 even though I also had an NES and Super NES along the way. I wish there had been a Commodore 64 specific game magazine here in the U.S. but there wasn't. I didn't know about this U.K. published magazine until many years later. Though it covered the Amiga a little for a short time, it was always primarily a Commodore 64 gaming magazine. The April 1990 issue includes:

Grand Games

Ferrari Formula One - A conversion of this Electronic Arts racing games from the Amiga to the Commodore 64.

Pipemania - The classic action/puzzle game for the Commodore 64 and Amiga.

Midwinter - A post-apocalyptic first-person action role-playing and strategy game for the Amiga. DOS and Atari ST versions were also available.

Warhead - A 3D space combat sim for the Amiga.

Ferrari Features

The Challenge Returns! - Two players battle it out in the action/puzzle game Snare.

The Zzap! Bible - The second part of a Commodore 64 game index and a complete Amiga game index.

New York Knights - A preview of the coin-op home conversion of Shadow Warriors.
