Christmas is of course a Christian holiday. However, the reason the date was chosen is because it coincided with pagan winter solstice celebrations (or close to it anyway) probably in an attempt to make conversion easier. Some pagan traditions were incorporated as well. However, that doesn't make it a Pagan holiday.
