Splinterlands: The Power Conundrum. From a new player's perspective.

Even with decent wins in Splinterlands, Rating is increasing at a rate far outpacing Power gain. This could easily be overcome with Booster packs being available for purchase but with packs being a little too expensive for a F2P player, and renting an additional 24K Power costing a bit in the DEC department, it looks like I'll have to wait a while before going for my next Rating increase.

On the other hand, DEC gains are still going strong with an average of about 15+ DEC per win now. Granted, this won't last forever but earning $0.10 in 3 minutes is pretty decent, assuming I don't get stonewalled by Legendary cards haha.

If anyone has any advice, please do drop them in the comments, I really appreciate any advice as I climb the ladders.
