As a break came in the clouds, the full Beaver Moon appeared, a brilliant and very bright site of a cool, windy autumn evening.
The Beaver Moon is the third and final full moon of the Autumn in the Northern hemisphere and Spring in the Southern hemisphere.
The moon gets it's name as this is the usual time of the year that Beaver's build their winter dams and preparte for the onset of winter during this month.
If you live in North & Central America and Northern Asia, you will have a chance to witness a penumbral lunar eclipse, that will take pace on the 30th November between 2:33 and 6:54 EST (7:33 - 11:54 GMT).
Sadly as I live in the UK, I will miss the penumbral eclipse this time around, although I did get a shot when it happened to the Super Pink Moon earlier in the year.
Shot using a Sony A7iii, with a Sigma 150-600mm Lens at F11, lens adapted from a Canon fit using the Sigma MC-11 Adaptor. Manual focussed on the moon.
