When we hear some pilots talk about the storms some say that forecasts are taken when embarking on a flight, if they are isolated storms the itinerary is not drastically suspended, the truth is that some say they are accustomed, and if the storm is warned of beforehand they are psychologically prepared.
There is a moment in our lives that happens like the plane, he has a point of no return and if suddenly a storm takes it they have to continue.
What happens to us when everything goes well and suddenly the unexpected storm arrives, the one that changes the calendar and puts the world upside down?
We have two options: the first is to let the storm sink us, or decide to move forward: we are not deserters but warriors and in the power of the almighty God we will overcome all adversity.
One of the things that I have learned from life is that we have to be "storm pilots" if, taking control in Jesus' name to gain victory over each event, people will ask me how we can win:
It is as simple as building the house on the rock, there the key, the bible tells us in Matthew 7: 24-27.
S. Matthew 7: 24-27 NIV
Anyone, then, who hears these words, and does them, will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on the rock. Rain descended, and rivers came, and winds blew, and struck against that house; and it did not fall, because it was founded on the rock. But whoever hears these words and does not do them, I will compare him to a foolish man, who built his house on the sand; and rain descended, and rivers came, and winds blew, and struck with impetus against that house; and he fell, and his ruin was great.
RVR1960: King James Version
A storm is something of short duration that violently agitates seawater, winds, imagine this on the earth's surface, but now visualize your life in calm, when that strong wind comes and makes your comfort be affected in emotions And start asking, and cry and suffer and ask where God is, why is this happening to me?
And believe me brothers that the storms of our lives are not all produced by sin, nor by satan, sometimes it is God himself testing us as gold is tested, passing us through fire.
The storm can never be more than we can bear, and depending on the attitude we have, it will come to an end.
Jesus has all the power to calm every storm, he is with us at all times and in all storms.
In the bible there is talk of a storm on a ship, before Jesus started, he said: let's go to the other side, (see Mark 4:35), ladies and gentlemen, the storms come when we must move on to another level of faith, growth and power in the holy spirit.
He said in the first paragraph, that if we are not on the rock, the storms will end us, we must also recognize that there are hard storms that take many things and leave us almost at zero, I have lived it in my own flesh, but at greater pain, greater has been his glory.
Sometimes we preach by word, God places good messages for people to know, but if there is someone with a call or a ministry of those who burn they must be prepared to pilot dangerous storms, anchored in the cornerstone. No one who has not been prepared and gone through storms can lift others, the storm reveals us to God, and gives us authority to overcome them.
In the midst of the storm we learn to have peace, and that our hearts be saved from all rancor, or bitterness. The moments are difficult, to me the storms have debated me, but the potter has made me a new glass.
I remember, when I began to be a storm pilot, a prophet told me at an altar: Darlenys, your life has been very comfortable in the place where you are, so in less than 72 hours, the colorful tunic that represents the protection of the father In your life it will be taken away from you. As it was said, my life happened and entered an unprecedented whirlwind, and I learned to handle storms.
Mother of the crowds!
