WELCOME TO MY BLOG

I have heard many experts speak on the subject of covid-19, I was recently surprised by an interview with a famous doctor where he said that in 2019 there were approximately three million people in the world due to respiratory complications, influences, etc. However This pandemic throws lower figures in terms of lethality, but it has paralyzed the world.
Regardless of what causes it, the level of contagion is compounded by the fear that has clothed a global society, we have all changed our social, external life. My question is: is this the opportunity as human beings to regenerate our interior?
Yes, definitely during and after the covid-19 we will need a renewed and regenerated world in all its extension.
In times like this we say and think that we will no longer be the same, but the truth is that many things will remain the same or worse, in any case we Christians should not be discouraged by this, remember that internal regeneration can only occur when we recognize the divinity of the triune God, we meet him intimately, the covid-19 by itself will not heal our being, but it can be an ally to reflect and take us to that place of peace and mercy that Jesus left us.
God has not decreed to distinguish the seasons of his mercies, it does not escape his control, he will depend on our attitude towards it to be regenerated within us and help regenerate the world, habakkuk said that although the fig tree does not flourish, nor He finds cows in the corrals and although the product of the olive tree is lacking, with all he would rejoice in the God of his salvation, he is still the Father, our ABBA, his hand has not stopped, the plagues of Egyptians were terrible, each one of they represented the dethronement of a God before the sublime power of the Jehovah, let us think that Gods are going to bring them down in this time ... the God of money, the God of power, the God of idolatry, the God of the ego.
“It can take your summer out of winter, even if you don't have spring; Although up to now you have been ignored, stunned and frozen, clouded and eclipsed, muffled and numb, suffocated and stupid until now on the paths of fortune, understanding or conscience, now God comes to you, not as in the dawn of the day, not like the bud of spring, but like the sun at noon, to illustrate all the shadows, like the sheaves in the harvest, to fill all the hardships, all occasions invite His mercies, and all times are Its seasons. "
John Donne
The ministry of regeneration is a doctrine that has been forgotten, God wants us to return to it, in these times that are apocalyptic, but a great opportunity for the church, very painful things has been shown by covid-19, one of them the house of crowded older adults dying alone, a broken commandment, honoring father and mother, has a promise of life, hearts have hardened by the desire for riches and the world today, God left it written in the book of Joel This is the time when the hearts of the parents have to return to the children and from the children to the parents, that is the spirit of Elias, that of the restoration of paternity.
I share this beautiful poem by Mario Benedetti, wise and timely:
"When the storm passes"
When the storm passes
And the roads are tamed
and let's be survivors
of a collective shipwreck.
With a weeping heart
and fate blessed
we will feel happy
just for being alive.
And we will give you a hug
to the first unknown
and we will praise luck
to keep a friend.
And then we will remember
all that we lost
and at once we will learn
everything we did not learn.
We will no longer be envious
for all will have suffered.
We will no longer be lazy
We will be more compassionate.
What belongs to all will be worth more
That never achieved
We will be more generous
And much more committed
We will understand how fragile
what it means to be alive
We will sweat empathy
for who is and who is gone.
We will miss the old man
who asked for a peso in the market,
we didn't know his name
and was always by your side.
And maybe the poor old man
it was your God in disguise.
You never asked the name
because you were in a hurry.
And everything will be a miracle
And it will all be a legacy
And life will be respected,
the life we have earned.
When the storm passes
I ask God, sorry,
that you return us better,
as you dreamed of us.
