I am very happy today. My happiness is because of I was able to join the mass indoctrination today. Today is the day 11
I learnt a lot of things today. Armed with this knowledge, this post is my reflection post.
When you want to give something to somebody, you should not expect anything in return.
It is not compulsory for you to give something in church. Giving us a voluntary action.
The book of Acts tells us that if you want to do a charitable act, then you should do it wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return.
A voluntary work in the church is to make vows. A brother can vow to give something to the church if he passes his exams. This is not a forced act, but he volunteered to do it out of his free will.
The book of Jeremiah says that; our of them shall proceed thanks giving. I will multiply them and they shall not be few.i will glorify them and they shall not be small. This is a prophesy. The prophecy has come to pass. Many people come to the church and offer thanks giving to God every week. Thanks giving is not compulsory. It is a voluntary action.
The book of Hebrews tells us that you should offer he sacrifice of praise continually and you should not forget to do good to other people. What is the sacrifice of praise?
The books of acts tells us that the sacrifice of praise is the same as the sacrifice of thanksgiving.
Whosoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies God. There are three things that pleases God. The sacrifice of praise, voluntary giving and doing good to other people, pleases God.
Donnot forget to do good. accoesib as a man purposeth in his heart, so let him give.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart to which you were united in one body and always be thankful to God.
