According to the Scientist and many Psychologists remembering is a kind of time travel. Remembering is one of the greatest powers that human beings posses. Dejavu is the feeling that the situation currently being experienced has already been experienced in the past. Almost 90% of us has experienced this situation or will experience it in our later lives. It is experienced mainly in the teenage or during 20's and almost never before the age of 8 or 9.
Dejavu is a french term of already seen. We experience a situation and it feels that we have seen it before but the hippocampus fails to recall the memory associated with it that situation is called dejavu. Our various sensory inputs are normally processed together and mixed as one event. If one of those stimulus goes out of sync , the late arriving information could be flagged as a different event which makes us think that this event has occured before and in this situation we experience dejavu. There are dozens of theories related to it but its main cause still remains unexplained.
