Tamiš is the river with source in north parts romanian Carpathian Mountains in part whose name is Cernei Mountains. On the highest peak of Semenic-Piatra Gonosei at 1445m, thers is a source of stream, one of three sources of Tamiš.
It passes through the entire Banat and firth is at Pancevo where it flows into the Danube. Tamiš is a river rich with fishes. The river is attractive for fishermen, but also for tourists who like to walk onthe beautiful Tamis quay.
Tamiš je reka koja izvire u severnim delovima rumunskih Karpata u delu koji se zove Cernei Planine. Pod najvišim vrhom planine Semenik-Pjatra Gonozei na 1445 m, nalazi se izvorište gradištanskog potoka, jednog od tri izvorišna kraka Tamiša. Prolazi kroz ceo Banat a ušće mu je kod Pančeva gde se uliva u Dunav. Tamiš je reka bogata ribom. Reka je privlacna ribolovcima, ali i turistima koji vole da setaju prelepim Tamiskim kejom.
