Yeah that hits close. A while back I noticed I kept saying "that's just how life is" whenever plans fell through or work piled up, like I was handing control over to some invisible force. Made me pause and rethink those knee-jerk lines we throw around. Stuff like "no time for that" or "I have to" started feeling less like facts and more like habits someone else installed.
