Hi Steemians! My daily Steemit Crypto Mag condenses all of the news from the land of crypto into one place on Steemit, so you don't have to go searching for it.

In today's featured articles I take a look at Randao 1.0 which finally brings random number generation (RNG) to the Ethereum blockchain. RNG has been a tricky subject for blockchain development, as any RNG that involves a miner is open to attack. For example, an attacking miner could potentially withhold a RNG from being added to the blockchain, if the number they generated was not ideal for them, and the reward for a more suitable RNG was bigger than the current block reward of 5 ETH.
