Hello everyone, as the title says today we will talk a little about interviews. Because we are different we tend to make decisions each in its own way but is this good? With the help of interviews and people with experience in this field I managed to gather useful information and not too much. In the following I want to present the categories:
People who have solid knowledge in theory but without projects. With regard to this category, the biggest fault is the faculty (from my point of view). In the faculty the theoretical work must be combined with the practical one. In general, the student chooses what he wants to learn (mostly from colleges) but the percentage of faculties that do and practice with those things is very small. In general, theory helps you look like a person who knows everything about technology but when it is put in front of the computer it is slow (because it does not know the program), possibly because of emotions that theory learns daily to be lost.
People who have no solid knowledge in theory but who have projects. This is a category with 2 cuts because we can have a candidate who has a landmark and manages to finish projects using the Internet (This is not very serious, because the code is largely open source, and if the person knows how to modify that project according to the criteria that is ok) or the one who steals (the person who has many projects and cannot explain them can fall into this category).
People dependent on money. We all want through our human nature to make money, this is the source of income. This category is a common one if we refer to people with experience (5-10 + years), but as a beginner this "quality" can be very harmful. Example: Multinational company, salaries between 500-600 euros for a beginner in an internship position of 3-6 months. This person is interested in the price of the company and then doubles (or in more serious cases triples the amount), saying that he will be a good employee and that he will give profit in the company.
People with an exaggerated sense of humor. We all want a chill atmosphere at work and a friendly team. In every company there is at least one such person but ... the humor without the minimum knowledge on that position is not exactly a delight for the company considering that we are talking about a business. In general, these people rely on their character and try to carry on the discussion more in private life than in the one related to professional experience (projects, activities, diplomas).
Safe people on them. In this category as in the second point we have two subcategories. The first category being represented by the person who has no emotion and "invoking" a slightly authoritarian attitude. The second being represented by the person who has a balance between the technical and the practical part. In general, this category is seen well by employers because it displays safety.
People who are not satisfied. This could have been the same category as that of the "money addict", but the discontent comes from several pros. Mostly these people are looking for a reason for pity to enter the company "I have had a harder time lately, you know what it is like when you are looking for a lot and you can't find it, but they can succeed because you are a big company. ".
Shy people. This category is seen as hopeless in terms of employment, however. Many shy people hide well-structured knowledge but never having the opportunity to display them in front of anyone, these people form a barrier to the world around them. In order to test whether the introverted person is a man with some very good knowledge, one must first get out of that "bubble" (this is a lot for the employer) and then test himself.
The fawning people. This category is considered one of the most miserable, which is why I preferred to put it last in this topic. Meeting people who are praising and talking unfortunately is not a pleasant thing, especially to work with them. "Honest work brings benefits" unfortunately this saying is destroyed by these humble people who lick, are attracted by people with power to "shorten" the work of reaching the front.
These are just a few of the categories picked up by numerous recruiters. Possible on steemit are people who are going to give a job interview, so whoever wants to be able to offer support, add more categories and have a concise discussion on this topic of employers.
My advice: Be open, best when applying for a job, get interested in the company, what you should do, do not hesitate to ask questions and most importantly, do not interview with arrogance or an attitude of god.
This topic was made for people working in the computer science or finance, people who generally stand in front of a computer.
I'm curious how you see the perfect candidate. From my point of view if the first, second and fourth categories could make a combination it would be very interesting.
