Updating this image from 2017 for 2027, we have been here for a decade now.
And what is it we are really doing? Once I read that Hive was a 'data layer for the entire web'.
Those of us who were around to see the early web 1.0 days had to learn HTML just to surf.
There were no centralized places to find other people, you had to actually know a website.
Now with Hive the script has been flipped. Instead of paying to host a website, you pay to Power up your account. You write your posts, and everyone on the network around the world can see.
The user is at the center of the experience, and we all have our own articles we can write.
In the next decade I will endeavor to discuss more and to also write for posterity.
Those who look back at your stories will have a chance to read the archives we are building.
Lets make it an archive worth studying for generations.
