We have come a long way, and I believe in the future of HIVE.

What would happen if
1 Billion dollars
was locked up in HBD?

If HBD supply was just 5% of HIVE supply but was $1 Billion dollars, there would need to be around $20,000,000,000 (Twenty Billion) in HIVE market cap, and the price could be around $20. However if the HBD supply was 25% at a BILLION valuation, HIVE would need just $4 Billion market cap
(but no HBD would print and all rewards would be Hive Power, right?).
Can HIVE sustain $1 Billion in HBD value?
What might it be like at that point, assuming $1 billion in HBD, $10 billion in HIVE, and $20 Hive price with $1 HBD price? I remember, when HIVE flipped HBD, and it will happen again. Don't sell too much HIVE at 0.75 and miss out at $3.

Imagine you are at a store, and there are only 10 toys. If people want to buy those toys the price will likely go up due to greater demand. Powering up HIVE and saving HBD can reduce the liquid supply and drive up the value of both assets. Also we should take care to consider that our posts remain long after we are gone, so everything we publish is for posterity and adds value to the network.
What is your Legacy?
What are you creating for the future? How much Value will you add to HIVE compared to how much you have Recieved? How many others can you help? We have the opportunity to acquire a stake in the future value of HIVE by saving.
When will HIVE rise again? When will BTC rise again? The two are correlated.

HBD is only a relative measurement to HIVE, $1 worth, at any particular time. It is not exactly pegged to the Dollar, but to HIVE in mathematical relations.
