I have been considering keeping some STEEM to see what happens to the chain.
However I have been selling some of my STEEM for HIVE tokens to double up my account.
Right now, 1 STEEM is worth approximately 0.784 HIVE, not a bad exchange rate.
Last week I sold roughly 457 STEEM for 254 HIVE, altogether 0.55 Hive per Steem.
The price was fluctuating and you never know where it will go, but I wanted to sell.
Honestly I figured there would be some value in keeping STEEM. After the acquisition I figured we would have some announcements about how STEEM would migrate to TRON.
Yet it seems that there has been no activity on Justin's account for 23 days... so I am beginning to wonder what the future of Steem will be when Steemit Inc is inactive.
At the moment it appears the largest account on HIVE is the binance-hot wallet which has 24 million HP (currently in powerdown), and another 24 million SP on Steem, also powering down 2,444,266 STEEM.
We are leaking Steem and Hive power!!
It is time to POWER UP your HIVE tokens and hold on to your butts.
