I am a book,

Left open for the world to read.

I am a torn picture,

That is somehow still beautiful to see.

I am broken in so many ways,

That I am glass,

Upon your velvet hands.

Your heart and mine beat in the same rhythm,

Yet we will never be quite the same.

I have learned to fold you into my life,

Like one would fold a delicate blanket,

Gentle and light.

You are my sun moon and stars,

But somehow I don't even know who you are.

You told me everything there is to know,

About your life and you are fallen snow,

Compared to my corrupt being.

How can I stand a moment in your presence

Without feeling like I am unworthy.

Perhaps that is what I truly am.

Unworthy.

But you, my darling will never agree with that,

You would say that I am so many things,

But unworthy is not one.

You would scream to the heavens of my innocence,

If it would save me from Hell.

But even God knows that I am where I deserve to be.

I am Aphrodite.

I seduce too well.

My supposed innocence is my cloak,

Hiding my true self,

From the people who would attempt to love me.

I pretend to marvel at the fact that someone like you
Would spend time with someone like me.

But with you dear,

There is no such thing as pretend.

Everything is pure with you.

I am a tree lost in your woods,

My heart belongs to the forest.

But my soul belongs to the wind.

I am an adventurer,

I run the wooden paths through my forest;

my backyard,

I battle dragons and gryphons.

And when I get struck down,

The handsome young prince saves me.

I long to be led into the heart of adventure

Conquer like Diana,

Yet be grace and beauty like Celeste.

I am a lover,

From the moment I lay my lips on another,

I know the game is over,

And I have won him.

My kiss is a toxic as poison

And yet it would seem

many people love to get infected.

I am darkness

Everyone mistakes me for light.

Be careful

If you get too close I will drag you down with me.

I am a siren,

My song is irresistible,

To most.

But you I don't want to hypnotize.

I don't want to corrupt you.

I want to keep you pure in my sight.

All of your past sins are forgiven,

I just wish you could forgive yourself.

I am first and foremost yours.

You stand one step behind God for me.

You took my hand and told me,

That it was ok.

To be dark and powerful.

You said you were Atlas,

My king of the stars.

Great and wonderful.

I am your moon,

I love you just as the sun reflects off of you,

And I crave your light as the moon soaks up the sun.

What I'm trying to say is,
I love you.
Now and always.

I got the picture off of a group on Facebook. The name of it was Super Fantasy. I'm not sure where they got it from though
