Change has to be the only constant thing in the life of humans. It occurs personally and generally. As you grow up from when you are born to being an adult, some changes are expected in you. This is the world order and it can’t be stopped.
This is one reason why it’s essential to critically study our environment so we can also as inhabitants change with the flow so we don’t become oblivion to our environment. Awareness of your environment makes it easier for us to use it to our advantage, for example when it comes to farmers in relation with weather and climate. Equipped with such information will make them make plans for a better resulting planting.
There are good changes and also bad. It offers balance to life because we can’t be experiencing just a side of it.
One of the changes that has affected my view personally is sociologically.
During the time of our forefathers, we all had a sense of community. We experienced a communal living, in which everyone was dependent on each other for survival. The foundation of such living is still evident in our culture and way of living which are particular to a geographical location. But this type of living has been declining in recent years. Society is tilting toward a self-sufficient type of living. We have a lot of people now identifying as introverts, using that as an excuse for being socially awkward.
With the growth in technology and science, we humans are able to achieve a lot without moving from our home, we can communicate through phones, complete our job tasks from our personal computer, this has made it harder for people to build a sense of communal living. It also has lower social and family values.
Tackling this problem from my own angle will be to create awareness by putting out contents, educating people for the need of family ties and communal living. Since I love to read and write, I will read resources and research about this illness that has faced our society and write about it by making use of hive and my X social media. It’s something I want to achieve this year and I’m very committed to preach these messages.
We need to understand that being a lone wolf is against our natural order and the world can become a better place if we act like brothers and sisters toward each other. There is joy, peace and happiness in communalism.
I feel if I’m able to pass knowledge about the benefit of coming together just as our forefathers and ancestors, we would be able to achieve a whole lot of feats because there is power in unity.
Thanks for reading.
