Він полетів і розглядав у всі сторони, та не бачив ні одного сховища. Нарешті, в далині він побачив дім. Підлетівши трохи ближче метелик побачив, що вікно в цьому будинку відчинено та подумав що це надійна схованка від грози й залетів. Він сів на підвіконні. Йому було дуже затишно й тепло в цьому домі. Виявляється, що це був будинок Даринки, яка дуже любить всіх комах.

Даринка показала його мамі. Він зовсім не рухався! Мама подумала що він мертвий. Але Даринка заховала його в долоньці і гріла своїм теплом. Він легенько поворушився. Це спляча красуня! Їй було страшно під час бурі і вона заснула - вирішила Даринка. Як тільки закінчився дощ, вона взяла метелика на руку і вийшла з ним на балкон. Спляча красуня відчула промінь сонця і прокинулась. Вона вдячно помахала крильми і полетіла!
