One of the first exchanges I created an account with was Bittrex. This happens to be one of the top exchanges and they are able to exchange most cryptocurrencies. As many people on the crypto community would know... Bittrex does not have the best verification system nor do they have enough staff to manually verify.
There are many success and many horror stories dealing with Bittrex, yet and still it is one of the top.
When I first tried to do the enhanced verification on my account it said that my name did not match and it would take 7 days to manually verify... that was nearly 2 months ago. A week after my first attempt to verify I created a second account and this time used my passport which I thought would have worked better but I was still hit with a message saying it would have to be manually verified.
Since then Bittrex has sent out about 3 or 4 emails stating why there is a delay in verifications. In my mind I’m thinking the time it takes to send out a mass message they could have easily verified the info. If you are verifying based on name and the picture IS they provided then why does it take so long??
I had written off Bittrex long ago as the exchange I wanted to use. Last night they sent 
At this point all I need that exchange for is to purchase my THC... Hempcoin. Better late than never I suppose. But frankly I don’t trust it enough to use for the bulk of my crypto exchanges.
