It's another Tuesday for the amazing three-tunes initiative and to be honest, I'm always waiting for Tuesday every week, it is my best day of the week since I came about this contest.

I listened to so many songs in a week and it's always hard for me to pick the songs I want to use but there is the thing I want to address through the song. My three tunes songs for this week are based on forgiveness. I know some of you think it going to be religious but it is the other way round.

Some of us have not forgiven ourselves for the past mistake we made which is actually affecting our growth. Some of us still hold grudges toward someone/people who have hurt us and usually don't wish that person well and some of us like myself have hurt someone special in our life.
I remembered doing a public apology on WhatsApp to one of my ex for allowing my anger to take over me, I didn't do it because I want her back but just to free my heart of the pain it was in.

For anyone who still holds grudge against something, I want you to listen to these three songs and I'm sure after that you will see holding grudges doesn't worth anything. You feel like you hate someone while you are also hurting yourself silently, why don't you just let it go and become a new person?

My first song for today is Forgiven me by Mary Mary, the song talks about your past that you still hold on to, those sad parts of your life, and those mistakes you wish you never made. You might not be able to see enough reason to let go but I assure you that after listening to this song you will be more enlightened.

My favorite lyric

I hold a memory of myself
Reflections of what I used to be
These broken roads that got me here
Can't make it hard to face reality
But a new day is here
It's time that I embrace it
Can't wait another day
Right now I gotta face it
I never ever wanna press rewind
Never wanna go back in time
Not much glory
In that story but it's mine so I'm
Loving who I am today
The past has past away
Finally I
Have forgiven me

My second song is Taylor Swift Back to December, it is about taking away your pride and saying I'm sorry to someone you hurt due to action some time back. Even if you and the person don't talk anymore you can still say sorry, it might not be because you want the person back but to ease your mind of any troubles.
Because the last time you saw me
Is still burned in the back of your mind
You gave me roses and I left them there to die
So this is me swallowin' my pride
Standin' in front of you sayin' I'm sorry for that night
And I go back to December all the time
It turns out freedom ain't nothin' but missin' you
Wishin' I'd realized what I had when you were mine
I'd go back to December, turn around and make it alright
I go back to December all the time

My third song would be Eva Cassidy's Time is a healer, this song is about you healing from someone who hurt you. Letting go of those pain and wishing that person the best. It doesn't have to happen soon but with time it will and it tells too that forgiveness takes time.

I found a picture of your smiling face
Bringing old memories
That I had locked away
The burden of anger
From a heart filled with pain
Was finally lifted
And I smiled at you again
Oh, if time is a healer
And all hearts that break
Then all hearts that break
Are put back together again
'Cause love heals the wound it makes

In any way, you might have experienced hurt I hope you find a way to forgive and I'm sure listening to these songs will help too.
