Every year, there's a day I really don't understand, Valentine's Day.

Personally, I don't hate it, but I can't say that I like it either. I just don't celebrate it. I'm very sorry Hon, if ever you had time to read this 馃榿

Spend money buying a bouquet of flowers with chocolates馃拹馃挐, or dating someone you like, then end up getting dumped, or surprising your dearest one but not appreciated for the effort. It just feels like a waste of resources.

Whatever you do special in Valentine's Day can be done in any ordinary day, which for me is more special. The idea of love can be expressed any day, any time, anywhere.

Love is pathetic; you can love your wife, your husband. You can love your pets or friends. You love your parents. You can even love flowers, sky, cars, whatever. But you can't love all of these the same way or the same amount.

For me, Love is love when you both understand each other's needs. Love is love when you compromise. Love is love when you are built through ups and downs, and still together. Love is love when you do it for no reason. Love is unconditional, as others say. Love is not just a feeling.

At the end of this, I hope you don't love just for the occasion.
Love for happiness and for your heart's sake. Give love and be loved!

Photos were taken around El Nido, Palawan, during a vacation with my dearest wife and son last February 2024.

Hope you enjoy the shots.
