Every human on earth experience temptation at some point of their life, in fact temptation and challenges in life help you discovered who you really are,and what you are capable of,and even the extend that you can go life.
Even as hundred percent human,and hundred percent God, Jesus in His earthly life experience a moment of temptation. that you are a born again child of God doesn't in away mean, that you will not be tempted in life.
Bible speaking in John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but
be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
This is to tell you, that there's no way you go through this earth, even as a believer, that you will not be face with temptation and trials. But in all these we have this great assurance from our saviour Lord Jesus Christ, that He had overcome the world.
Therefore there is no need to panic,just hold fast to your salvation,and to your confession of faith, you will surely overcome every temptation or trial that may have come your way.
Some people breakdown when they are face with temptation, and some people break record when they are face with temptation, choose to break record and not to breakdown, because Christ in you is the hope of glory.
So as believers in Christ we should not yield to temptation,according to 1Corinthians 10:13 there hath no temptation taken you but such as his common to man:"but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that he may be able to bear it.
This scripture clearly shows that God is with us even in times of temptation, there is always a way escape for you, don't loose hope, you will surely get through if you believe.
Always have a positive mind set, when you are face with temptation, remember that you are a new man in Christ Jesus, new man in Christ Jesus have the mind of Christ.(1Corinthians 2:16)
And since Christ didn't breakdown when He was tempted, I pray for you, you shall never breakdown in the midst of your temptation in life, you shall always come out strong from every temptation of your life, because Christ overcame the world, I declare. you will remained an over comer for the rest of your life...Amen
