She spat on her predecessors'

home and stated, I have spewed this country

out! Isn't this where the hands are found

blazing steels on the dividers like teeth

eating the body? With breath substantial like

the tears of an assaulted virgin, she stated:

I read verses and composition about Rwanda and I swear

I could have named this place "Heaven".

Yet, somebody has part the substance of the law

in my nation. I run towards the trench,

towards the faces prostrating to tidies. God!

Nothing blinds the eyes like despondency.

At her front yard, she disposed of all

the mattocks and the blades.

She gazed at the sobbing race

furthermore, the resting race. Here and there,

her solitary wish is to wake up

among the nation's flawless grasses

furthermore, it will be sufficient

to call even the fallen spots "Heaven".
