금년 세계기억력스포츠협회(WMSC) 월드메모리챔피언십이 2018년 12월에 홍콩에서 열릴 것이라고 공식발표되었습니다.
올해도 벌써 9월인데 그동안 발표가 되지 않아서 많이 기다렸는데, 결국 홍콩으로 결정이 되었습니다.
아무래도 WMSC의 주축인 중국선수의 참여가 용이하려면 아시아에서 개최하는 것이 좋기 때문에, 올해도 아시아에서 개최되는 것으로 결정이 났나봅니다.
대회장소는 홍콩의 Regal Riverside Hotel이며, 개최일자는 2018년 12월 20일부터 22일까지입니다.
현재 국제기억력연맹( IAM)의 연착륙으로 인해 WMSC의 위상이 예전 같지는 않습니다.
하지만 WMSC 세계기억력대회는 대회 기록이 바로 기네스북에 인정될뿐만 아니라 국제기억력마스터(IMM)를 취득할 수 있기 때문에 아직 많은 인기를 누리고 있습니다.
저 역시 올해는 IAM과 WMSC의 세계대회 중 하나를 선택해서 참가할 예정입니다.
The World Memory Sport Council (WMSC) World Memory Championship will be held in Hong Kong this December, 2018.
This year is already September, but it has not been announced so far, so I waited a lot and eventually decided to go to Hong Kong.
It is decided that it will be held in Asia this year because it is better to hold in Asia to facilitate the participation of Chinese players who are the main players of WMSC.
The venue is the Regional Riverside Hotel in Hong Kong, and the date of the event is from December 20 to 22, 2018.
The WMSC is not the same as it used to be because of the soft landing of the International Association of Memory (IAM).
However, the WMSC World Memory Championships is still very popular because it can acquire the International Master of Memory (IMM) as well as the Guinness Book of World Records.
I will also participate in this year's IAM and WMSC World Championships.
